Abstracted Asteraceae is a digital abstract piece created out of boredom and thinking about the upcoming Autumn season. The inspiration was actually a Facebook advertisement for a sunflower maze that'd been popping up in my newsfeed. It was not intended to look like flowers and was merely a doodle, but the more my thoughts of that sunflower maze consumed me, the more the piece took on its shape. A second piece was created, Astera Distraction, which I decided to create in an attempt to reverse the work I'd done in this piece to create a different more conceptual version.
